Getting My Fiance Back Into the United States
Hello sorry to butt in your forum. But I'm almost in the same situation. My Fiance was deported 2 years ago( March 2007) for entering illegally as a minor. But was released to and his sister became his tempery guardian. He fled his country due to prosecution and economic reasons. We are planning to get married in Dec 2009. I spoke to an attorney, and she told me that we have to file two waivers ( i-130 and i-212 if im not mistaken). But she advised me that we should still get married. What should I do?
Re: I-130, Interview and Seeking a Waiver After Deportation
hi mexolas...ur fiance is out of usa? this process take a while is better than wait the 10 years that u supouse to get ban.
i've been in another forums about waivers and let me tell u that its very hard to get it approve u need to have strong reason. so i suggest u to get marry as soon as possible and fill up the i-130 first and the the i-212.for the first application takes around three months to get approve. i dont knw if u read mine. but my husband is going to have an interview this coming thurday. but selwad his wife already got the interview two months ago. and they approved his i-130 at the interview day. so im hoping that everything goes ok. for me and for u.
im not a expert on this but i research on the web and i go in to forums to get more knowledge bout other cases. u r welcome to keep in touch.
