What Are Some Simple Steps on Getting Married to a Immigrant
    I stay in Houston Texas.

I'm a (male American), getting married to a (female immigrant.) We met last year over the summer in 08, we was together that whole summer. She had to leave and finish school in 10/2008, Long story short, We have been dating for about a year now, we have been communicating with each other through this program called skype, (a web cam program) kinda like msn, yahoo messenger etc. Well anyway, she came back to america (legally) in 08/2009 yay!! lol she came with a working visa, and we really do love each other now we wanna get married. So she is here legally, with with a working visa.

What are the steps from there to getting married and establishing residence? PLEASE! : )

Extra Info: I stay on campus in college, she stay with my parents lol.

Do we need to stay together?
Do we need joint bank accounts?
Do we need picture proof of us being together?

In terms of establishing a bona fide marriage, you need evidence of exactly that. Living together, sharing finances, being photographed together, all of that can help you ultimately establish that your marriage is real. Past evidenc,e, such as Skype records, travel records, etc., can help you by demonstrating a genuine relationship going into marriage.

The simple steps for getting married are getting a marriage license and getting married. There's no simple recipe for marriage. ;)

What type of visa does she have, and for how long is it valid?
