    dropped charges
Once the state of Wi. has the charge it cannot be dropped, felony or misd. Unless of course your on the packers football team. They seem to get a lot of stuff dropped these days. Not fare.

    Mr. Knowitall
A prosecutor can ordinarily proceed with a felony charge regardless of the victim's desire to drop the charge.

Ok, then in your best estimate what am I looking at ? They said something about charges being lowered to a misdemeaner. I pled not guilty and they appointed a lawyer to me. I dont see him untill April 15. I am a 38 yr old mother of 5. Never ever done anything against the law. I fell on desperate times and couldnt pay my bills. Since then I have paid all that I took back. Except they believe I took more than I did. My home went into forecloser trying to pay back what I owed. Also the detective on my case was nice enough to let me know that a warrant was out for my arrest and I turned myself in, will that help any? Do you think they might offer a plea bargain? not sleeping and worried myself sick. I have 2 young girls at home and hate the thought of being seperated from them for any length of time. My pre trial isnt untill June 5th and I really dont think I can make it untill then.
