No Turn Signal, Careless Driving in Alaska
So, I live in Anchorage, AK and on the way to school with my friend the other day and he got pulled over and given tickets for a broken turn signal (fixable), careless driving, and stratling the white line.

the careless driving, the officer said, was because he changed lanes when he go onto the highway without signaling, and cut someone he couldnt see off. I think also because when he first saw the police he was in the far left (of 3 lanes, and 20-30 feet of grass in between us and the other side of the road) and he started to pull over to the right, but because of traffic, he would have to go up an off ramp, if he made it, or more likely alot further down the road past the on ramp because of the way its built there, so he pulled back over to the left side of raod.

the last ticket only said the white line, not the line dividing the lanes ,which i might have believed (explanation in last paragraph, i dont believe he fully changed lanes), so the only explanation we can think of would be the one on the saide of the raod when he pulled over, which makes no sense to me.

is it worth it to take the 2nd or 3rd to court, and if so, what should we do/have withus to get them repealed

One thing you should do is stay in school, and have your English teacher tutor you on your spelling. In terms of "we", it's actually "he" - they're your friend's tickets so the burden of defending himself is on him. He may not be able to do anything about the charges, but he can try negotiating and see what happens. Or he can involve his parents and consider getting help from a lawyer.

What exact statutes are listed on the citation.
