    Wage Garnishment or Bank Levy
What is the likelihood of a creditor suing for wage garnishment/ bank levy? If they win a case against you, can they only file for one or the other or both? How long does it usually take for this to happen, and would I be notified before wages were garnished or my bank account livied?

I recently abandoned an apartment after two weeks in Saint Louis. Just having moved there to start at SLU, I was unable to find a job and was overall unsatisfied with my situation. The fine for abandoning the apartment is particularly high: $4,000. I was only there for two weeks.

Would a creditor consider an offer of 25%?

    Thanks.

well, since we have no idea what state you live in now, there is no way to answer any questions about what they can do to obtain their money.

They could do both. No they don't have to notifiy you that it is going to happen. You will be notified once it happens.

In so far as how long and would they consider an offer ~ I don't know. JK took the crystal ball from me last week and is refusing to give it back!!!
