Custody/Visitation Agreement for non married parents?
I was never married to my childrens father and we never had a custody or visitation agreement established. It has never been a problem until now. He moved to a different city and said by some Ohio code that I should be helping him with transportation on his weekends. Is this true? He also said his attorney is going to be sending me a letter stating that I have to allow him to claim one of our 2 children on his taxes (which I have never allowed him to do because they don't live with him and my husband and I clearly provide most of the financial support) and that I will have to help with transportation. Can his attorney do that? Do I have to abide by what his attorney says?

    Thanks!

If he has no custody rights, he has no business claiming a deduction for a child. If there is no order giving him parenting time, you would not normally have any obligation to subsidize his exercise of parenting time.
