Moving out of state

I have been divorced for 4 years and have two children 6 yr old and 9 yr old. We have joint custody of the children. Since August that I do not have any contact from my ex husbond and he never came to visit the children, but he is still paying for chil support through the state.
My current husbund was offered a job in the state of Florida wich will give us a better opportunity financialy. But we do not know what to decide because of the situation with the children.
What can I do to get permission to move out of State or is it possible to move out of State? Because I do not have any way to contact my ex husbond.
Can you give me any advice in what to do?

To be safe, you should get your ex-husband's permission or go to court and get the judge's permission. If your ex- is paying child support through the state, there must be some way to track him down.

i had contacted the probation office of child support but they won't give me information of my ex husbond.
If I go to the family court it is enough to obtain an authorization and usually how long can it take? Our dicision in moving can only be made after this situation is resolved.

A local lawyer should be able to give you a pretty good idea of how long a particular motion would take in your County's court system.

If we go to the court if we can't contact the father. Can the court say we can't move that we have to stay in the state?

Let me rephrase...
I am willing to go to the court and I am arranging to see an attorney. But my question is.... I don't have a way to contacting my ex husband.If by any chance the court can't locate him. What could happen?
1. Can the court deny the relocation?
2. Can the court judge without the other parent?

Also even if with contact of ex husband....can the court deny the move?

Presumably the parent is under court order to keep the child support agency informed of a current address. If that has not been done, and no current address is known, the court may permit substituted service. If nobody opposes the petition there is a high chance that it will be granted.
