    N-400 Citizenship Applications
I think I made a mistake in filling out the N-400 application form. For question# 16 ( Have you ever been arrested, cited or detained by any law enforcement office?). I answered "no", even though I have traffic tickets. Would I get into trouble for that? Should I correct it now? or tell that at the interview time? Please advise.

    Thanks for your help.

    Mr. Knowitall
The form used to specifically exclude traffic citations, but now doesn't mention them, so it is safe to infer that the USCIS now wants to be informed of traffic citations. It is unlikely that a traffic citation (a non-criminal traffic offense, carrying a penalty of a few driver's license points and a modest fine) would cause any immigration problems.
