Caught Shoplifting at Kohls in Michigan

I was given a 3rd degree retail fraud ticket when I shoplifted $84 worth of stuff at Kohls in Michigan. I was told I'd have to pay $200 for the items and probably more for the time it took them to be staffed and blah, blah, blah.

I know I will probably get probation and a diversion program, and I was wondering how long that will be to stay on probation?

Why do you think you'll get a diversion program? They're not universally available.
