    Out of Status and in Deportation Proceedings, Married to a Citizen
    Thankyou for your Kind Help in advance....

    I've been in the US for 3rys now. Came in 2006 as a F1. My Visa is Valid till 2011 D/S...I went out of status in 2009 for not registering classes, Picked up by ICE and now on a 5000$ bail. Deportation proceedings and the Court date is in December 09. I had the chance to Reinstate for my School but i didn't pursue since i was certain that it will be denied by INS due to low GPA.

    I was dating the whole time and now got married to a US citizen during this time. I have marriage certificate in CA. Dating and marriage are the main reasons for not taking care of my School.

    I wanted to know couple of things from here till my Court date;

    1) When should be the best time to arrange for an Attorney?

    2) Any Suggestions of good Immigration Attorneys in San Fransisco?

    3) What is an I-212 form does it have to do anything with my case?

    4) I owe money to school/Apt/Phone bills etc My spouse is 90% dependent on me ... will this work against or in favor of me on my court date.

    5) Can i file the I-601 ?

    6) I know there is a lot of chance that i will get deported / Any legal steps i should take for not letting that happen.

    7) What kind of procedures should i be expecting from my attorney?

    8) What kind of Legal documents/forms i should file that would help me with my court date.

    I do not have any past criminal record whats so ever.... no Tickets nothing. I was approved for Citizenship back in 2005; but i came to US before any interview or anything could have occurred. I was over age. I didn't really care about that at that time, will this affect me now, i am 25.

    Re: F1/Out of Status/Married/Approved of Citizenship Need
    You need an attorney ASAP. Address all of your questions to him/her as your situation is too serious to depend on advice from a forum. Check on the AILA website for a list of immigration specialists.
