    You must be a resident of the state in which you file divorce.

    Typically, that requires living there from 6 months to a year (depends on the state), having a residence (leased is fine), state issued drivers license or ID, and receiving mail there.

    can a tourist visa holder establish a residency in nevada? i hear that it only takes a couple of week to stablish one?
