    Food Stamp Eligibility Fraud
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Arkansas

My daughter is using my address to get food stamps. On the application she has herself listed as separated from her husband, which she is not, living at my house. She lives there with her husband, 8 kids and her husband's illegal cousin. Her husband makes around $250,000, and owes the IRS a lot of money. He doesn't take taxes out of his workers checks, who are also illegal, but I guess that's another issue. She gets about $1,000 each month in food stamps. She also has a statement that I someone signed my name to, saying I pay her $50 a month. What will happen if she gets caught?

Typically, it is probation for a first offense.

In her case however, I would bet a significant amount of money that she will get some substantial time in federal prison, as will her husband probably and the kids will be placed in foster care.

She will in all likelihood be criminally prosecuted and ordered to return the money she is stealing from the government. What do you mean, "She also has a statement that I someone signed my name to" - what is the document, and did you sign it or did someone else sign it?

Sorry, I meant to say someone signed, my name to a statement saying I pay her $50/month for part of her monthly income.
