Theft from Job
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Alabama
I was fired from my job due to theft of property. The former employer sent an email that stated she would not press charges if I did not file for unemployment. Eight hours laters i received a phone call (not from her number), that stated that she was pressing charges against me for Grand Theft. What can I do?

Re: Theft from Job
Well, since you were fired for theft, you can file for Unemployment, but don't be surprised when the benefits are denied.
You can consult with a Criminal Defense Lawyer.
