Bench Warrant in Riverside, California

Hi all

I have a violation of probation bench warrant for not paying a fine.

If i go in with cash and pay the fine will the warrant be recalled.
If it is recalled can i get something in writing showing the warrent recalled?
My employer is being a pain about this issue..

That is something you will have to take up with probation and the court. It might be best to work this out through an attorney.

If you go in to pay the fine, you will be arrested.

Hire an attorney. Have the attorney pay the fine on your behalf. Then have the attorney talk to the PO and see if the warrant can be withdrawn. If not, the attorney should talk down the amount of the bail. Get that money and surrender with the attorney and/or a bondsman with the bond all worked out in advance. With luck you will be in and out the door in a few hours.

Paying the fine does NOT cure the probation violation. It will go a long way in making the violation go away however.
