Approved I-130 for Parents but What About Brothers and Sisters
I'm a us citizen. I applied for my parents and got the approval recently. I have a 24 yrs, 22 yrs, 19yrs, 12, and 10 yrs old brothers and sisters none is married. I have not filed an I-130 for them because i know it takes long time for brothers and sisters. Now, I'm worried that my parents might be denied the immigrant visa since they have young children that they will obvisouly won't leave behiend. Any thoughts on this situation.

    Thanks a lot.

Your siblings receive no benefits from you applying for your parents. Your parents will receive green cards and are expected to move to and reside permanently in the US. If your parents intend to live in the US they will have to do so without these children; you siblings may not accompany them legally. Do not even think about having your siblings live illegally in the US as it will complicate things greatly in the future.

You need to file for your parents when the processing time for their visa category equals the estimated remaining wait time for your siblings. All can then move to the US together.

Alright, thanks for the reply. Would my parents get denied an immigration visa at the embassy because they don't intend to migrate here permanently until the minor kids grow up since they can't bring them a long?

They have a limited period in which to enter or the GC is abandoned. They will be issed the GC, but when it is not used for entry or if they do not live and work in the US, it is gone.
