Shoplifted from a Store Multiple Times and Got Caught Once
My question involves criminal law for Canada
Hi,I got caught shoplifting at a clothing store. I had been shoplifting from it for a while about every week. My question is: Can they use the prior shoplifting incidents where I didn't get caught against me in the criminal charges that are against me (not the civil court, the police charges).

Sure if you admitted to them or they have evidence of any other times.

I didn't admit to them & how can they have evidence against me?
Can they go through all the long hours of surveillance tape? Is it likely?
Re: Shoplifted from a Store Multiple Times and Got Caught Once
It is not likely they would do that but if they think they know you or store associates say you are always in the store there is a chance they could and have more. If not then you are probaly okay.
