Things the Judge Will Like to See
Alright so knowing my situation id like to compile some things that will really be plus's on my side to the judge.

    so far ive thought of

buying the man who caught me a new shirt (his got ripped)
having character descriptions sen t to the judge.
    showing my grades.
doing community service in the old people neighbor hood that im going to be staying at in florida.

anything i should add or subtract from here? getting any kind of jail time would ruin my life right about now so anything i can do to prove this scared the shit out of me and was enough im up to.

This is the real deal, your grades and your community support after the fact mean NOTHING to the judge. What he/she cares about is what happened. I am assuming it got phsyical for his shirt to get ripped so I am sure the judge is not going to be happy with you. The best approach is to be 100% and own up to what has happened. Express how sorry you are to have put everyone involved in danger and you understand how your actions could have really caused issues. Ask for mercy and forgivness. This is my 2 cents and I am not a lawyer so take it or leave it. I have been in court many times with lifters and I have seen this as the best approach.

And if you did not read the tips stickied at the top:

    - Dress nice. Business casual.
    - Turn off the cell phone.
    - Do not bring friends with you.
    - Address the judge as "Your Honor".
    - Say Please and Thank You.
    - Do not smoke before you go in. (if you are a smoker)
    - No gum, candy, or other food.
    - No iPod.

    - When you pay the Civil Demand, bring proof with you.

Be prepared to pay your fines that day.

I have more in the list, but you will have to see the stickied thread for the full list.
