Sixteen-Year-Old Received First Ticket Ever - What Will Happen Now
My question involves a careless driving ticket from the State of: Iowa

Well tonight happened to be the town's yearly cruise night. I was driving with a bunch of friends and I decided to take a corner fast and squealed my tires. I guess i have no good excuse other than peer pressure from my friends yelling at me in the car and that it was cruise night. I received a ticket for careless driving because of that corner.

First time ever being pulled over, first ticket I've received in my life. I can send it in and pay a fine of $93.75. But I am wondering what will happen to my license? Will it be suspended? That is the main thing I'm worrying about at the moment, I really need to be able to drive... What action should i take from here?

No, your license won't be suspended.

Take a breath. Unwind your tail. Pay the fine and you're all done.

And next time you go for a cruise, tell your friends to shut up.
