Warrant in Georgia, Live in Texas
I was on vacation in Georgia and got a MIP. I live in Texas and have beeen trying to gather the money but it just didn't come together. I called many legal helplines and lawyers and the court house. The court told me that I had to show up and if I couldn't make it that its my problem. And for the helplines and lawyes they couldn't give me any useful information. I'm 18 and unemployed with somewhat questionable living conditions. I don't have any idea of what to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciateed. Not to mention today is the day I am supposed to be in court. I don't have some long criminal recored. The only other charge was also a MIP but it was deferred. There is no way that I will be able to get to Georgia and time soon.

Wow, your a jackass! No I'm prepared to face the consiquences my acctions. When I'm arrested and Georgia declines to come and get me which I'm sure they will considering the fact its a Misdemeanor and wouldn't be worth the money or effort to get me I'm going to have to sit in jail for 16 day which is longer then what I would be sentenced if I could acctually make it to court. Then once they release me they can contiue to arrest me for that same warrart until somebody whips out a magic wand that whisks me off to Georgia. I'm an 18 year old 9th grade drop out with a crack head mother and an achoholic pedphile father. Who was given a few drinks by the people I was staying with on vacation. My boyfriends slaps me they call the law he leaves and I get arrested. Now are you just going to make rude comments or do you acctually have some helpful advice?
