    Duplicating an Online RPG Game
Hi...I was looking around on the net for rpg scripts that i could buy to start a small mmorpg...well i find a site that's selling something called "Space Commander" that looks like a clone of Ogame... go here for the copy: http://www.rpgbunny.com/products/Space-Commander.html

and here for Ogame: http://www.ogame.us ...look at "screen shots" for Ogame and "See 4 more pictures" for the copy one

is this legal?! If i buy this and call it something else like "space warriors" and change some of the graphics and put it on my server (in the US) would i get in trouble? copyright violation? thanks, Steve (45yr)

If you are concerned that your "borrowing" somebody else's ideas or designs will violate copyright, patent or trademark laws, run the specifics of your idea past an IP lawyer.

I'm neither going to buy a $30 game nor play an online game to compare them to each other, let alone guess as to whether or how they might be relevant to whatever idea you have.
