My 15 year old daughter wants emancipation
almost four years ago I lost the rights to my kids. My daughter and I found each other over the internet and she wants to come home. I have been told the only way this can happen is if she is emancipated. She has a very level head and is very goal oriented. how would we go about this she is still in the fostercare system in florida as she was never adopted and i live in michigan. I can support her while she is in school because I don't want her quitting. She wants to be a lawyer in family law and i will do whatever i can to make that appen,

    Mr. Knowitall
    Florida Emancipation Petition
A Florida emancipation petition has to be initiated (once she is 16 or older) by a child's parents, guardian, or a guardian ad litem. As it appears that your daughter is a ward of the state, that would presumably mean that the state would have to emancipate her; that seems unlikley.
