Okay, I know I shouldn't say this but I'm going to: If you are pursing your career as a law student why would you go shoplift? I just find that as pure stupidity. I'm sitting and laughing at a future criminal that is attending law school. Drop out and save yourself the embarassment.

    Nevermind
I don't think "dropping out" will be necessary. Any law student looking for a "non-objective" legal perspective will never complete law school and certainly never pass the bar.

I would be most interested to know which law school she's attending; likely, one you've never heard of.

    hey ignore those creeps
dont listen to what everyone is saying. i was caught a week ago thursday, and if u sit and listen to people telling u how stupid u were, how ur guna get a terrible punishment etc., its just guna bring ur morale to the ground. basically, wait on an arraignment date. (im telling u all that i have been told in the past week) if you cant afford an attorney, get one at court. apparently, they will talk to you at your arraignment. DONT PLEAD GUILTY...that stays onur record. u can either chose to plead not guilty, or stand mute ( in that case, the court puts in a not guilty plea on your behalf). then, most probably since this is your first time, u will get comm service, a fine and probation. i havent been thru any of this yet, but do not worry about it. as for your boyfriend....i guess he could do the same. i no those police men and LP are biggest ****ing assholes so i dont blame him for reacting the way he did. let me no what goes on...i cant tell u 100 percent the legal proceedings and shit, but i can try to be of support

"People make mistakes. I do not appreciate the lessons in morality. Our criminal justice system rests on the idea that no matter what crime you commit, you still have rights and those rights include competent representation and due process in a court of law. Not everybody is above the law, not even the cops. mmmmmkay"
The 'lesson on morality'.....you must have been sleeping during that class. All the things you stated seem like you have a pretty good recollection of what you and your BF were stealing, the fact you can recall the lofty standards of the legal system you wish to represent but you can't tell if he was a cop or not?? Don't be so pushed out of shape when you come here and toss around your bloated wanna-B ego, pretending to be the victim when in reality your the cause of the problem, you go ahead and tell the Dean I'm sure he'll be impressed. You take a dislike to having your nose rubbed in it, get used to it, take your lumps you're not special and that's my Professional opinion to you.... a layperson/student-thief.

    whatwasithinking,

First, You plead "not guilty" to allow for plea bargaining for a lesser fine and/or a shorter probation.

Once the fine and/or probation sentence is acceptable to you, you will have to plea "guilty" to accept it. And that means you will have a criminal conviction record. You can't accept any offer from the prosecutor by having a "not guilty" plea.

Seems like you were a little bit confused about this.

Please don't blame her, she is just a law school student, compare with Claude Allen, the former Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy, she is just a piece of potato. She knew that is wrong already, otherwise she might not be that scared. If she can get rid of the charge or criminal record, I believe, she will be good in her future life, which is better than she actually gets the charge.

When you blame the little girl, when the court charged the small cases, meanwhile, we can see so many famous people get rid of their punishment.

You sound like another drug induced half-wit. If you're not on drugs, things don't stand a chance of ever getting better. Either way...poor you!

YOu are not bigger or higher just because you have a chucky name. Who knows who you are, and what is your history, just because a nick name ? You only can blame the little girl, when you see the famous person get rid of their charge, what can you do? just eat the chuckychess ? lol
