I did something incredibly stupid today and took some books from Barnes and Nobel. It was under $100 worth of stuff, and this would be my first offense. As I was walking out the door the alarm sounded, and I just kept walking. As I reached my car someone yelled to me. I looked up and the man went back inside the store so I drove away. Could they have recorded my liscence plate number. I know there is no magic crystal ball that can give me the answers- and I feel incredibly stupid asking a question like this after so many have been posted- but what is the liklihood that they will track me down? They do not have me on camera- I was careful of that.
