    Parole or Probation Transfer
My question involves criminal law for the state of: PA
My boyfriend was in county jail for 10 months on DUI charges (misdemeanor) then house arrest for 2 months. He finished his house arrest in April and he JUST met his parole/probation officer a couple weeks ago (its insane how slow they are).
I recently was offered a paid internship in San Francisco starting in September. The company he is working for is also looking to start doing business out there and offered him the position of their California representative.
He spoke to his PO about it and she said it was fine with her but she'd have to check if his case is transferable and then CA has to approve things. This was 2 or 3 weeks ago and despite several phone calls and emails to her we've heard nothing back.
This job offer won't last forever for him and it is a really great opportunity. He is a model parolee (in outpatient rehab, hasn't had an episode since being released)
Is there a way to speed this process up? Is this approval even likely to happen?
Is there anyone we can hire to help us through this process?

    Thanks in advance.

Not usually. Just keep checking in.

We can't answer that. It really does depend on whether or not the case is transferable.

You can hire an attorney to make...um...pointed inquiries...on his behalf.
