Florida Emancipation

I am currently 16 years old and living in Florida. Now I understand that I must have my parent/Guardian's permission to start the cycle to get emancipated in Fl. I was born when my mother was 15 and my father was 17 and not too after they broke apart. Now I live with my mother and I have only seen my father a handful of times. My mother would never allow me to get emancipated, but, is it possible that my father can start the emancipation process?

Not a chance.

If you've only seen him a handful of times, that tells me that he doesn't have legal authority over you. You can't just run off to your bio dad to have him override your custodial parent. It doesn't work that way.
