Simple Battery
Three days ago my girlfriend and myself got into an altercation. She'd been cheating on me...and to make a long story short....I spit in her face twice and told her what I thought of her. At this point she started swining at me....she's a big girl....this resulted in my throwing her away from me and her falling into the wall.
I was arrested and charged with "simple battery"
Does anyone have advice regarding what will happen from here, and what I'm likely looking at.

Battery of a Girlfriend
You should consider consulting a lawyer.
If you have a clear record, you probably will get sentenced to probation, fines, and possibly community service. Sometimes communities offer diversion programs for domestic violence cases, which (if available) might enable you to avoid a criminal record.
