You really are not listening, are you? It does not matter. As long as they can prove that he had sex with you when you were before the age of consent, it does not matter if he marries you later on down the road or not. the crime still occured, and the state can choose to file or not choose to file. There is little that can be done about it.

The fact that your parents allowed it means nothing. Just because a parent says you can have sex underage does not make it OK under the law, else it would be legal for your parent to run an underage brothel.

And ANYONE can report him. It doesn't have to be your parents or your doctor. It can be your teacher or your pastor or some guy off the street.

It is better you don't see your boyfriend till you are 18. It is sad and all but it is the current state of the laws, and public hysteria over all things involving sex, teens, the internet, and the movement for the past 100 years to delay young people's entry into the adult world despite the fact that they are maturing earlier on in life with each new generation (estrogen substitutes and other pollutants in the drinking water could change that, however, especially in males).

There was a case several years ago in which a 14 year old girl got pregnant by a 17 year old boy. They moved in with each other, and all was happy and fine. The very day the 17 year old turned 18, the police arrested him for statutory rape. He went to jail for several years, now has a criminal record, has to register for life as a sex offender, and have his face appear on a website along with those that rape six year olds and women at knife point.

Many states have removed the statute of limitations for sex crimes, so, if some enterprising detective decides to go after your boyfriend even after you've been married for 30 years, he technically could. In the case of felonies, it isn't you who is accusing your boyfriend of a crime, it's the state, and the state can continue to peruse charges regardless of what you say or do.

May I suggest A1 steak sauce for your boyfriend if he's charged? He'll get fried (especially if you name him as the father on the birth certificate), and the media will be there peck at his bones.

Anyone who's name appears on that birth certificate as the father will fry. There was another individual that offered to be put on the birth certificate as the father to take care of the child of an under-age teen. Since he was over 18, regardless if he was the real father or not, he was arrested for statutory rape.

If you don't like the laws, then fight to change them. Until then, you have no right to complain.

what should i do

There's nothing you can do except stay put. You are not an eligible candidate for emancipation and you cannot get married without parental consent. Your parents make the rules. End of story.
