    Child custody for unhappy child
I want to file for child support modification. I want my ex husband to pay more child support for my 13 year daughter. We agreed to have him pay $300.00 a month. a year ago. He makes approx. $3000.00 a month. Since then I have become unemployed. My daughter no longer wants to have visitations with him and his current family, she feels she is neglected and left out. what can I do to prevent more custody time and more money for my daughter.

    thanks,
    Miserable mother

    Mr. Knowitall
Depending upon your state law you may be limited in how often you can seek a modification of support, but you may ordinarily petition for a modification based upon a change in your financial circumstances.

You need to try to be supportive of visitation between your daughter and his father, and perhaps to discuss your daughter's feelings with her father so that he understands the problem and can do something about it. A nebulous claim like "Feeling left out" seems like a weak basis to go back to court and try to limit the other parent's visitation.
