You mean a consent form for step-parent adoption?

I need a form or forms that allows someone to give up there rights as a parent, there is no step parent and the parents of the child are not married. The mother doesnt want the father involved with the child.

You can't just fill out a form and get out of your responsibilities unless someone else is going to legally take your place... regardless of what the other parent wants. A judge won't approve it.

If all it took was a form to fill out, do you really think ANYONE would pay child support?

Judges want children to have two parents unless one of them is deemed - BY A COURT - to be unfit.

Other than that, the best way to keep an unwanted adult out of your child's life is not to have sex with him/her.

Once you give birth to the child, both parents have a right to be involved... whether you like him/her anymore or not.

no one is trying to get out if any responsibilities cause there is none to worry about. I did not come here to get critizised, I just wanted to know what or if any forms were available, without saying anything about the situation.

Unless you decide to share anymore information on your situation - that is the best I can do.

    I suggest you go here

    and read Divisions 8, 9, 12 and 17

No one really cares about your "situation". The law simply does not allow one to just sign away one's rights, tra-la-la.

The law's stance is "You helped make this baby, now grow up and help support it." And that holds true regardless of what either parent thinks or wants. At the point the child is born, the parents' wants are no longer of any consequence to the courts - it becomes all about the child and what's best for the child.

If you think the answer you got here was critical, try asking it of a judge or magistrate. Wear asbestos underwear and bring a fire extinguisher.

My answer was legally sound... and remains so.

On a side note, if you wish a complete answer, ask a complete question. I DESPISE posters that hold back vital information so that they can "GOTCHA" the volunteers here later on.

    Contact an attorney.
