17 Year Old Busted for Shoplift at Walmart
My question involves criminal law for the state of: arizona
I am 17 years old I turn 18 in 5 weeks and I stole a video game from walmart around a month ago I feel so stupid for doing it but now I wanna know whats going to happen. the whole story is I took the game opened the case and put game in my pocket, I was seen doing so by a worker and was stoped at the door. I went into a back room gave them the game and they took my picture and copyed my id. they say the item came out to $21 somthing they then took a picture of the game and a cop took my home. I just got a letter saying I have to pay $100 to walmart and I was fine with that but I also just had a cop come and say we will get a letter in the mail for my court day im really scared... this is my first offence and im not sure what arizona law says or what can happen to me and what payments or anything I may have to to. also is this going to be on any record for the rest of my life? ive been looking it up all night. if someone can help me out i would be gratful.

Look what you were charged with and the state, you should find it online. It will be on your record. Here's my story, if it helps: http://www.expertlaw.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81201
Fines you're gonna pay are court fees, attorney fees and also the letter that you're gonna get from wal-mart attorneys. Some people have to pay around 200-300.
