Semi Hidden Assets at Time of Divorce
My question involves divorce in the State of: New York
My fiance has been divorced for approx 7 years. In the process of doing research for current child custody issues, we discovered that her ex had purchased a piece of property while they were married. She was never told about this joint acquisition and it was briefly mentioned in the divorce paperwork as a piece of property that was in his name only. No mention of the year it was purchased or that it was purchased while they were married. My question. does she have any rights to re visit this minor omission by ex with the divorce court? Oh yea. He paid cash for it.

I guess no one wants to touch this one. 47 views and no response. Can any one tell me a general direction to do my own research?

Omission? What omission? It was there. If she had any questions about it, she should have asked them back then. Nothing was hidden.
