    Weird Paraphernalia Charge in Texas
My friend got charged with paraphernalia but I brought the pipe into his car. Hes going to court in August. He is under the age of 18 and I am 18. His dad wants me to send him a letter saying that the pipe was mine. But my friend helped me pay for the pipe and he was next to me when we bought the pipe. Will I get charged with paraphernalia if i send in the letter saying I am the owner of the pipe?

This occurred in the state of Texas

Before you start confessing to crimes, talk to a criminal defense lawyer.

In the meantime, try very hard to imagine how throwing your friend under the bus is going to haunt you for the rest of your life.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Never confess to a crime. I doesn't matter if you're guilty or not. Even if they pull out a video tape, you swear it's been tampered with.
