Violation of Restraining Order
This is a question from PA
My ex and I have mutual restraining orders against each other. We also, at one point, worked at the same place. After we both filed restraining orders she contacted our HR department and basically detailed all of the allegations she made against me. None of the events leading to the restraining orders to place on the job. She has made grievous allegations against me and her contacting HR (in writing) describing the event and also making false claims about inappropriate work related behavior on my part were all investigated and dismissed by HR. We have yet to go to trial. My question is: since she contacted HR with these false allegations AFTER she was served my restraining order, does that count as a violation? Her stated goal was to discredit me and get me fired (she told me this verbally) and told HR that although this incident took place off the job, she felt my employer should know about my "character and behavior". Hence the correspondence to HR. Any advice?

Unless the RO prevents her from discussing you with a 3rd party..No. It isn't a violation.

Depending on the wording of the Ro and if you have proof of contact this "could" be a violation.
Re: Violation of Restraining Order
During our very first hearing, (she asked for a continuance since she lacked evidence) I explained to the judge that she has been contacting my employer making these allegations. The judge told her pointedly that she is NOT to call my job(this is AFTER she had called and written several times). BUt would that include HR?

Does the actual court oder state she isn't to call/talk about you to a 3rd party?
