Changing Companies with a J1 Visa
I did an internship for 6 month in the us. Now I am back in europe and I found an other internship position in an other company in the US. I had a J1 for 6 month that expired last week. How can I extend my J1 to work with an other company? A j1 last 18 month, is that right?

You may not be eligible to return, depending upon the terms of your original J1 visa. You may be subject to a two year period during which you must reside in your nation of origin before you are again eligible for a U.S. visa.

In my j1 visa it s written: "Bearer is not subject to section 212(E)
Two year rule does not apply".
I think I am not subject to the two year rule law.

Can I extend it if it is not with the same company or do I have to do the process from the beginning again, as it was my first J1 visa?
