Most offenses have a 4 year statute of limitations in GA. Any offense carrying life in prison or death is 7 years. 15 for rape. There is no stat of limitations for murder.

The statute of limitations only applies to the time between the offense and the date a warrant is issued. Once a warrant is issued there is no statute of limitations on the warrant itself. The warrant could be served tomorrow or ten years from now.

Once you're charged, the statute of limitations becomes irrelevant. The limitations period relates to the time between the offense and the date you're charged.
