Emancipation in Ontario

hi im 14 and cant find anything on emancipation in ontario. i would like to know if it is against the law to move out against my parents wishes or if anyone knows how to be emancipated in ontario

The conventional wisdom on the Internet is that that a minor in Ontario can move out at the age of sixteen without having to go through an "emancipation" process. To date, I haven't found any actual legal authority for that proposition. Without actual legal authority, I cannot determine if the conventional wisdom is accurate.

i wont be turning sixteen until oct. 2007 and i cant wait until then to get out. is there anything anyone knows that can help me get out??(i've already tried running away and it didn't work)

Try talking to a guidance counselor at school.

i have tried that but they dont listen and they tell me not to worry about stuff like that
