What Am I in Store for - Family Issue
My question involves an eviction in the state of: Michigan
My dad passed away last year. My sister volentered to move back home to take care of my mom, she has MS and can't do a whole lot on her own.
In the past year my sister stole all my mom's money. Her cheacking account has been completely wiped out ($200,000). This was all discovered 4 months ago.
Being unemployed my family called me and asked me to move into the house and take care of everything. I am not going to get into it, but everything was a big mess, and I had to do a lot to get things straighted out.
On Sunday my mom decided to move in with my other sister. She didn't say anything to me. They just brought a moving van and left. How's that for a thank you.
Now I am not sure what to do about the house. Can she legally just kick me out, or do I have to be evicted?? Am I aloud to take over the payment and keep her out since she left. The house is still in my dad's name. Any info will be much appresiated

Your 'other sister' being the one who stole the money?
Why is the home still in your father's name? Did he have a will disposing of the property? Did he leave everything to your mother? Has your mother told you to move out?

Thanks for replying
My dad died suddenly. We was 54, with no major health issues. There was no will left. I have no idea why everything was left in my dad's name. It's not only the house, but all the bills, car, everything.
No one has asked me to leave, but with all the stuff that is going on I am sure it's going to happen. I just need to know where I stand legally. If I leave here I'll be homeless, I have no where else to go.
And yes she is living with the sister that stole everything from her. I can't explain it. I feel very hurt and used by this whole thing.

It's your mom's home, so she can tell you to move out or evict you.
