    Roommate Moved Out Left Belongings
My question involves a roommate in the State of: California

My boyfriend and I lived together, and recently broke up. He has moved out of the state, and has left several pieces of furniture as well as some personal belongings. We are no longer on speaking terms, and I don't know what to do with his stuff. I have a mailing address of where he is currently residing.
Any advice to help me, and cover me legally to remove his belongings would be greatly appreciated. I just want his stuff gone, and to move forward with my life. Thank you.

Send him a letter RRR stating that he has 30 days in order to retrieve his belongings. On the 31st day you will donate all items.

Remember ~ Return Receipt Requested, and if the mail comes back do not open it.
