Change of Contact Similar to Termination
My question involves employment and labor law for the state of:

First, I want to say I hope this is in the right place.

I was issued a new employment contract, and they changed the contact from being vague to more specifics like hours works, start and end times, total days, and salaray. The also INCREASED my days.

Now the contract has a 30 days notice by either party termination clause. Is a change in terms, specifically increasing days worked, essentially like terminating an existing contact?

The contract is always yearly, so unless I am issued a new one to sign, I would assume to be "terminated". So, this is where I need help. Contract is Always July 1 to June 30 (insert current and next years). I just got me new contract on the June 10th.

Is this considered a violation of 30 days notices, as no meeting were held. I want to know because I think they are possibly doing that. Even if no contract was to re-issued, shouldn't I get a termination notice (let alone a change notice) prior to or on 30 days before its term end?

I hope that was clear enough. I am actually happy, just concerned they are being fair in the contract re-issuing process and notifications/meetings.

    Thanks!

If you're stating that the old contract expires on June 30, then it expires, and the new contract becomes effective after the old on expires, then... you've just told us, that's what happens.
