Entering the USA on F1 Visa After Getting Married
    Hi

I was wondering if anyone can answer a question for me.

I have been in the USA since September 2005 on a student F1 visa valid for 5 years.
I graduated in May and I am staying on for my masters.
I got married to my wife, whom is a US citizen, last May and then we went on a honeymoon to England, which is also where I am from.
I have now just applied for permanent residence but i was wondering, is the fact that i entered the USA on my F1 visa after I was married a problem.

I didn't think it was a problem and my international counselor at my school signed my i20 and i am still a full time student but i didn't know if because i got married, and then re-entered the USA it will create problems.

The issue is whether you had the intent to immigrate when you reentered after your honeymoon. Merely marrying doesn't mean you intend to immigrate. If you were thinking, for example, that you would finish your degree then return to England with your wife, there would be no misrepresentation. (It may not even come up.)
