    Divorce While Conditional Resident
    hello for all ,
    I am married to an american citizen outside of the US for 2 years , I entered here in Oct.2008 I am a permanent resident (Green Card 2 years , expire in Oct.2010) , since I am here everything is fine with my wife , and now things is changing , she start to treat me as NOTHING , and she said that she will DIVORCE me (we are living together).
    Can some1 help me and explain what can i do if she divorce me ??
    are there something can i do before divorce ?? another options to do
    if it happen DO I HAVE TO LEAVE THE COUNTRY ?? if no , what is the others options .

    I presume that what you really want to know is whether or not you'll be able to keep your green card and have your conditions of residency removed?

    The answer, unfortunately, is only a solid "maybe".

    If your wife does indeed file for divorce, you'll want to hire an attorney immediately.

    First , Thank you so much for your attention , and ur answer , I understand from ur answer that IF MY WIFE WANTS TO DIVORCE ME (seriously) , i have to hire an attorney before she divorce me .

    Actually, you'll need two - one to handle the divorce proceedings and one to help you determine whether or not you'll be able to stay in the US.
