Emancipation

ok like i am 15 and turning 16 in april and im tired of living with my mom. i really want to get a job but my mom wont let me. i have also told here that i want to move out or even get emancipated. i know that if i get a job i can definitly financially support myself. and thats what i really want to do. please help me. what do i do?????

I think u should try and get emancipated because it sounds like u really could support yourself and live alone.

emancipation will definty help there then u can make ur own desions

ok thanks but like when i go to court i know for a fact that my mom is going to say no. then what? theres no way she is going to let me move out or even get emancipated for that fact...............ok like a little while ago i got into trouble with my mom that could have gotten me arrested. i know it was stupid. but i have learned from my mistake. i dont do what it was that i got into trouble for anymore but like my mom is just going way over the top with the punishment. i know that even what i did was wrong, but like i made my decision to get emancipated (or move out!) way before i got into trouble!

i wish i could help but im in a sittuiation that i cant get out of i cant get emancipated untill i turn 15 in may :evil: :twisted:

his is the same as mine.our parents hates us and dont care

my parents are always wanting to be in control and they wont let me do any thing they give my younger siblings all the priviges and they dump the kids on me when they go anywhere

yes jordan tozer is my real name and i think ur options are to stay at home and be bossed around and not get a job or get emancipated and get the job to support yourself

hmmm.... r ur parents split up? if they r try moving in with ur dad and c if it is any better there than where u r now. if not just try reasoning with her

yes my parents are split up and i dont know where my dad is. my stepdad is great but my mom is a total bitch to me. the only reason why i have put up with her for so long is because my stepdad is so great to me. but i just cant stand to live under the same roof as her anymore!

why dont u consult ur stepfathter if u want to get a job if he says no than the only option is to get emancipated

if i were u and im not telling u to do this because in the end its your choice but just tell them that they wont let u get a job and u want to be emancipated

yea thats what i would do; u may not want to but u never know it could help

i know it probably could help but like im not so sure about talking to my counselor. shes not very helpful to me.
