Stolen Card Details Fraud
My question involves criminal law for the state of: United Kingdom
i have recently been suspected with stealing customer account details and i have in my interview with my employer come clean and told them everything i should.
I have been with my employer which is a bank for 1 year and a few months and since i have started working there, this man kept on approaching me for details and because i didnt want to get into that sort of trouble i declined him the opprtunity for almost a year, but he kept on asking me for details, falling under debt i tried to get out of debt and passeed on some customer details to him and he promised me to get out of debt which was about £700, and he told me he knows alot of people who do these things, i never wanted to find about it, i just wanted to get out of debt and leave the whole thing to give it up.
But since i have been passing through these details i have made no money because he kept on saying that the details were either wrong or just didnt work, for well couple of months and when i wanted to give up he threatend me that he will inform the bank about my actions for the past few months and may even me into trouble with all sorts of gangs, being under pressure i had to do it, because i had learnt that he has been involved with assult and all sorts of criminal convictions before and now i have caught by the bank and they recorded everything i told them about my actions on tape.
they have put me into suspension until further investigation, it's only been 4 days since i came clean, i have had no sleep, feeling very ill and now know what i had done was wrong. I was never involved in any transactions on the accounts, which i found out were successful and had no idea about what this man had been doing with these accounts.
i don't know what to do and what might me the worst sentence in my case? because i am at the end of my college course which i really need to have a good future and i dont want to mess up.
I don't know what to do, because the police haven't contacted me yet !!
any suggestions as to what i should do??

There may be a "special relationship" between the U.S. and U.K., but you're definitely not a state. ;)
This is a U.S. forum and, although U.S. and U.K. laws are often similar, you really differences can be significant (particularly in areas such as labor law) and you should pose this inquiry to a solicitor in the U.K. or try to find a U.K.-based legal board or service.
