    Does Jurisdiction Change Automatically
    My state is: Wyoming

My ex recently moved to Illinois from Wyoming with our four year old son. He has primary physical custody and we share legal custody.

My question is this: Since he is the CP, will jurisdiction automatically change to an Illinois court after he has resided there for the 6 month time frame?

Or, does he have to come back to court here to change jurisdiction?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

As long as you live in WY, the order will remain there, unless you allow a change of jurisdiction.
