Emancipation in Oregon

hi i have a question to : i am seventeen years old and i dont feel safe in my house livign with my dad and my stepmom we are always fighting and she hits me and grabs my face and threatens me and my dad doesnt say anything i dont feel safe going back there every day after school. its starting to affect other things of my life like school work and other things. is this a good enough of a reason to be emancipated?

No. Emancipation is NOT granted on the basis of how tough your life is. Emancipation, on the very rare occasions that it is approved, is granted on your proven history of supporting yourself.

It is, however, a good reason to call CPS.
