Selling Alcohol to a Minor
I am a bartender in TX and I have recently been given a citation for selling a minor alcohol in a sting operation. However, I was not there when the citation was presented because I left work early that night, instead I received a phone call at 230 in the morning telling me I had to turn myself into jail Wednesday morning . Now my question is when I returned to work the following manager gave me the citation they had left for me but it was blank, all that was filled out was my name. no arresting officer, no badge number, and no description of offense. So what I am wondering is does this help my legal case at all?

Just your name? That's odd? Sounds like a joke? You can approach it the way you want but unless the citation has a charge and an appearance date, it is NOT a binding order to appear, IMO.
As for turning yourself in, I personally would not and I would tell them why.

I suggest consulting a criminal defense lawyer, and taking the citation with you to the consultation.
