Trespassing in New York State Park - What Are the Consequences
I got a ticket for being on property closed to the public at a NY State Park. What are the consequences?
The ticket says, In Connection with your alleged commission of the offense of "Property Closed to Public" ( the part in quotations was written in) In violation of SEC 375.1 SUBD. h NYCRR TITLE 9.

I found it on the NYS Park Rules and Regs here:

We were not arrested we were just given tickets for climbing over a fence and being in an area of the park we were not supposed to be in. Is this a Violation? Misdemeanor? Or Felony?

I don't think it is a felony but i just thought I'd ask. I have court tomorrow.
    Any advice?

From what is explained here, that appears to be an infraction. I suggest being sincerely apologetic and trying to get a deferral.
