Bigamy
My question involves marriage law for the State of: South Carolina-- Does anyone know if there is a Statute of Limitations for pursuing a charge of bigamy against a former spouse in the state of South Carolina? The two parties are currently and legally divorced, but one party was still married for the first year of the marriage. Thanks.

Re: Bigamy
As far as I can see, South Carolina has no criminal statute of limitations on any offense, save for the writing of bad checks. But if it's been years, and this is an "angry divorce thing", I don't expect that a prosecutor will bite.
