Arrears Case in Maryland

I need some info, I have an arrears case in Maryland, my daughter passed away 2.5 years ago due to cancer. I am still paying for arrears even after my daughter has passed. The mother never collected welfare nor did she ever asked the state for help. Is it possible under the circumstances to have a judgement pass in my favor to have this arrears case closed?

Nope, not unless your ex agrees to it. The money you owe is to pay her back for the money she put out raising your (joint) child when you weren't contributing (legally).

The case can be closed when the arrears are paid completely, or if your ex decides to forgive the arrears, but it is completely her decision.
