Does Your Driver History Transfer With You to a New State
Wasn't exactly sure where to post this,

But I was curious to know if my California driving record which consists of 3 Speeding Tickets, and 1 Failure to Stop @ a sign Ticket would transfer with me to Nevada.

Transfer, no! But there might be a check and they do check (most likely), you will be denied a license. And if there is a warrant out for your arrest...:wallbang:

    The current Nevada statute is:
    Quote:

Quoting NRS 483.295.  Application from person previously licensed in another state; copy of record from other state becomes part of Nevada record; Department to furnish records to other states.
    1.  Whenever an application for an instruction permit or for a driver’s license is received from a person previously licensed in another state, the Department shall request a copy of the driver’s record from such other state. When received, the driver’s record shall become a part of the driver’s record in this State with the same effect as though entered on the driver’s record in this State in the original instance.

    2.  Whenever the Department receives a request for a driver’s record from another licensing state the record shall be forwarded without charge.

Basically, they will review your record, identify Nevada offenses that are equivalent to the California offenses, then assign penalty points consistent with those equivalent Nevada offenses.
